Frequently asked

What's included
and what is not

Are CIMA government fees included in the price?

+

In the "Starter" and "Fund Launch" packages the first-year government fees are included. For individual services, fees are paid separately (this adds between $200 and $5 000 depending on the type of entity and license). A full estimate with a breakdown of professional work and fees is provided before the engagement is signed. No "surcharges" along the way.

Is payment in installments possible?

+

Yes. For projects from $20 000 — a standard 50/50 installment plan (50% at the start, 50% before issuance of the certificate / license). For VASP projects — 30/30/40 (after Phase I scoping / after submission to CIMA / after approval). For Fund Launch — 40/30/30. Individual schedules are discussed at the first meeting.

What if CIMA refuses the license?

+

Our approval rate is 92% for VASP licenses, 99% for fund registrations and 88% for other licenses. In the event of a refusal we analyze the reason and support a re-submission with adjustments — at no additional charge for professional work (only new government fees). If the refusal relates to inaccurate information provided by the client, that is not covered. All terms are set out in the engagement letter.

What currency do you accept for payment?

+

Bank transfers in USD to the account of Cayman Atlas Partners Limited (Cayman National Bank). By arrangement — EUR, GBP, CHF. We accept cryptocurrency only from licensed VASPs by prior arrangement (USDC / USDT via regulated custodians). Wire details are issued after the engagement letter is signed.

How long does preparing a commercial proposal take?

+

After the first 45-minute consultation — 3–5 business days for a personal PDF plan: recommended structure, stages, timelines, a cost breakdown into professional work and regulatory fees. The plan is valid for 30 days, after which it may be adjusted for changes in CIMA fees or regulatory requirements.
